Within that context, GetFeedback Analyze team aims to deliver easy, meaningful and actionable insights on customer feedback. We're building the next generation of CX insights using ML. Our products and solutions help companies break down their customer feedback data silos and to bring flexibility to the way they analyze their customer feedback.

When it comes to technology, get ready to use technologies like Kafka and Elasticsearch, work on an async/microservice based architecture, as well as work as part of agile multidisciplinary teams consisting of over 50 engineers in 4 countries who love to experiment, learn new things and share knowledge. The primary languages we work on are PHP and Java. You do not need to have extensive experience in one of these two, but willingness to learn and to solve problems with them is required. You will report to an Engineering Manager based in Amsterdam.

What we're looking for

As further demands challenge the GetFeedback Analyze product suite, we need a developer with good, practical development experience. You're able to emphasize our growth while helping the team collectively reach a higher level; continuously push to make sure we are the best at what we do. We are a company with challenges we're not afraid to solve. As a GetFeedback Analyze developer there's the opportunity to make changes and you'll have the resources at your disposal.

Alongside serious development skills, we're looking for a well-balanced engineer who understands that it's not always about fixing. You'll make changes based on your understanding of our product, refactoring where necessary and developing what's important.

You're able to emphasise the importance of thinking before you code and reflecting upon your actions. What's more, you're passionate about sharing this expert knowledge, encouraging the team to move as a unit towards our primary goals and values.

You will

Solve problems with efficient and high quality code following our standards, proactively proposing improvements when an opportunity is there.

Participate in code reviews to make sure we collectively raise the bar for quality of our codebase.

Participate in collaborative design processes with engineers and product to solve problems our customers are facing.

You have

5+ years of development experience using a modern programming language like PHP, Java, Kotlin, Ruby, C#

Practical experience with PHP or Java, continuous delivery, Git, Kafka and ElasticSearch is a plus.

Experience architecting systems and vigilantly monitoring metrics and bugs

Familiarity with domain-driven design, coding by contracts and hexagonal architectures is a big plus

You're an advocate for collaboration - ensuring we push the product as far as it can go, but as a team
