Job Description

Overview

BerryDunn’s Compliance and Risk Management Practice focuses on compliance assurance services. We have assisted various state and local governments to strengthen internal controls to protect their resources from waste, abuse, and fraud, and to improve operational efficiency while maintaining compliance. Our goal is to be a trusted business partner for our clients by providing auditing and consulting services.

Our team is seeking a Staff Consultant/Auditor who is ready to grow with us. While we expect you to be able to work independently with minimum supervision, you will receive sufficient coaching, mentoring, and hands-on guidance from more experienced consultants. We will also offer you extensive internal and external training on various topics including technical skills, soft skills, teamwork, and relationships. We expect you to demonstrate flexibility, have a willingness to seek out advice, and exhibit an ambition for learning. We anticipate that after a year you will be able to perform increasingly complex functions with little supervision.

While demonstrated technical competence is necessary, you should also demonstrate human relations skills in dealing with supervised staff, supervisors, firm members, client personnel, and the public. We also encourage involvement in civic and professional activities.
