We’re at an exciting time in our growth, having doubled in size over the last 6 months, and we’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to come into the business and help us unlock our next stage of growth.

The role:

You’ll be a key member of our Growth pillar that is responsible for determining how we can best use our product to acquire new subscribers as well as retain them. You’ll be working with the other product managers in our growth squads to develop our growth strategy and roadmap, defining what success looks like and creating experiments that allow us to rapidly learn and improve.

This role reports to our VP of Product.

Outcome 1: Acquire new users through our product and activate new subscribers

Maximise the viral growth potential of our product through shareable content, working with marketing and the writing team to leverage Cleo’s unique personality and tone of voice

Optimise referrals, testing and learning to create the right balance between CPA and active subscribers

Own the onboarding funnel and subscription flows for our products, determining how to maximise conversion, including looking more broadly at the value proposition for our products covering areas such as subscription pricing.

Outcome 2: Reduce barriers to user retention

Identify opportunity areas where we could reduce friction/increase time to value for our subscribers, working with the commercial team to understand impact on lifetime value in order to prioritise

Work with CRM team to test engagement and retention focused comms and determine what should be built into the product flow

You should apply if you:

Have experience in product growth at a start-up or scale-up, and enjoy being hands on with a cross functional team of analysts, designers, and engineers

Able to say “no” more than you say “yes” to keep the squads focused on the most impactful priorities, but also able to communicate clearly with stakeholders and get alignment

Work collaboratively with your product squads and involve them in strategy and decision-making

Bring creativity into how we approach financial products. We're radically changing how people interact with and feel about their finances. This means thinking about problems in a different way, and we encourage PMs from all backgrounds to apply.

Bring energy and drive to ensure your product is successful. People would describe you as a force of nature who cares about their team

How long will the process take?

We aim to move as fast as possible. Usually 2-3 weeks is enough time for us all to get to know each other.

Step 1: Quick phone call with a member of our Talent Team to find out more about your experience and why you want to work at Cleo

Step 2: 45 minutes with the Hiring Manager

Step 3: Product case study, to be presented to a Product Lead and Growth squad member

Step 4: 45 minutes each with two cross-functional peers from engineering, user experience, commercial or data
