We are looking for an experienced Buyer. We need someone with a proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization and outside to external suppliers and retail partners. We will provide you with the necessary tools to be successful in this role. It is also essential that you are quick to act, have a sense of urgency, ability to think outside the square as well as to work in an environment that is constantly changing.

Job Details:

National Ingredient Buyer

Eastwood Libis QC

Monday to Friday | 6 AM to 3 PM

Responsibilities:

• Creating a schedule of replenishment that best meets planned requirements and generating purchase orders to the suppliers

• Booking freight (Inbound) accordingly where required.

• Implementing initiatives to improve service, and reduce inventories and cost.

• Ensuring that all purchase orders are correctly priced.

• Providing accurate & timely notification to suppliers on non-conforming deliveries.

Qualifications:

• Experience in inventory management

• Understanding of an MRP system

• Negotiation skills

• Self-motivated and determined to succeed

• Attention to Detail and follow through

• Listening skills and ability to communicate effectively.

• Good character
