Overview

St. Luke’s Health System in Boise is seeking a part time OR Circulator Registered Nurse to join our Boise Surgery Center team.

** $7,500 Sign on bonus offered for this position **

Schedule - 2 (10) hours shifts per week -40 hours per pay period with variable start/end times and variable days. Surgery Center is open Monday-Friday No weekends, holidays or call required.

Unit Summary

Boise Surgery Center is a 4x OR day surgery center performing pediatric and adult ENT, Gynecology, Plastics, and Breast surgeries Monday thru Thursday 0600-1800. Situated across the street from the Boise St. Luke’s hospital campus and connected via an underground tunnel, the Boise Surgery Center boasts 6x Preop bays and 10x Recovery bays in a freshly remodeled, spacious facility.

Responsibilities

Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.

Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.

Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.

Manages care of patients.

Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities

Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.

Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree

Experience: 1+ year Circulator RN experience is highly preferred

Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice- CNOR highly preferred
