The Estimator is responsible for reviewing construction drawings, identifying and producing the scope of work, and send requests for pricing to sub-contractors. You are also expected to follow up on pricing and compile all quotations to ensure you have all the necessary information to build an accurate quote for submission.What’s in it for you?-Health Insurance (HMO)-Competitive Salary-Expanded maternity leave up to 120 days-Expanded paternity leave up to 30 days-Allowances-Paid Time offs (Vacation Leaves Are Convertible to cash if unused)-Companywide events-Fun & Relaxed environmentJob Details:Senior EstimatorEastwood Libis QCMonday to Friday | 8 AM to 5 PM*The first few weeks of training might be earlier (New Zealand Time) Responsibilities:• Produce mistake-free quotes as requested by our customers.• Track individual bid production and enter information accurately into the system.• Assist project management with any issues that may arise during a project.• Participate in project descope and handoff meetings.• Read through specs and look for revisions, addendums, and RFIs.• Inspect drawings and specs to determine takeoffs.• Finalize quote and send to appropriate stakeholder.• Other Ad-hoc tasks as needed.Qualifications:• 3 to 5 years experience in a similar position• Experience working on offshore projects Specifically Australian or New Zealand Projects • Excellent communication skills.• Proficient with various tools related to Estimating.• Good Understanding of takeoffs
