Job Description

Summary The Lead Media Intern is responsible for overseeing the daily reviewing, editing and organization of photos and videos. This role is to be a support to the Director of Marketing.

Location: Base Camp, Plano, TX (Traveling to all 4 sites regularly throughout the summer)

Daily Responsibilities

Review each camp site’s captured media for quality and excellenceSort and tag all media for approval processEdit and filter all approved media as neededOrganize media into the proper file structure according to trainingEnsure shot list is being captured by media teamWeekly touchpoints with each site’s media team for feedback and goal settingFollow all documentation and checklists to correctly resize and upload contentArchive all content correctly according to trainingPrepare social media posts for approval On-site retraining with site specific media team as-neededMaintain daily uploads for each site’s photo galleryOther duties as assigned by Marketing Director

Weekly Responsibilities

Meet with Marketing Director once a week for updatesEnsure each site’s media team is capturing their shot lists and capturing minimum weekly photo/video requirements Maintain parent photo gallery for each siteEdit photos and/or oversee the editing of photos by site media staffOrganize photos captured into file storage structureFilling in for site photographers that are sick or gone during portions of the summer

Job Requirements

At least two years of experience in photography and/or photo editingExperience using DSLR camerasProficient in Adobe programs including Lightroom and PhotoshopAbility to work in-person in our Plano office during core hours of at least 9am - 3pm Monday through FridayAbility to travel several times per week to each camp location
