Overview

i3 is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join our team. This position will be located in Huntsville, AL at the i3 Corporate Office.

Responsibilities

Prepares cost/price proposals according to solicitation instructions, government regulations/laws, and company policies.

Works collaboratively with the proposal team and management to ensure that all cost proposals align with company goals and provide the customer with a competitive and compliant price proposal.

Supports the capture/proposal team in the development of pricing strategy, identifying risks, and interpreting solicitation requirements.

Coordinates proposal pricing activities across various departments, including Technical Teams, Program Management, Contracts, Business Development, and Operations.

Analyzes customer requirements, conducts price to win analysis, develops realistic pricing strategy, constructs pricing models and interfaces with other stake holders involved in the proposal process.

Evaluates Request for Proposals (RFP) and/or Requests for Quotes (RFQ); determines functional inputs that will be required for successful proposal submittal and communicates those requirements to the team in a timely and effective manner

Analyzes risk assessment and presents alternative pricing scenarios to mitigate potential loss/risks.

Maintains Pricing Files, including documenting proposal assumptions and sources of data used as basis of estimates. Strong archival and organizational skills are required.

Collects data and tracks daily submissions in support of the team metric data.

Works with Automation Team and Operations Team to develop dashboard visuals relevant to ongoing efforts.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business or other related major required.

A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in government contracting developing competitive cost/price proposals.

Direct experience in cost estimating, forecasting, and price modeling.

Experience pricing various vehicles, including but not limited to, EXPRESS, GSA OASIS, IAC MAC, etc.

Experience with multiple contract types (T&M, FFP, CPFF, Incentive, etc.) with an understanding of financial implications on program execution of each contract type.

Experience supporting or developing prime and subcontractor proposals strongly desired.

Active Secret Security Clearance desired.

Knowledge/Skills

Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, with advanced Excel modeling skills required (pivot tables, indexing, lookups, nested formulas, etc.).

Strong analytical skills and detail orientation required.

Experience with Deltek’s Costpoint is desired.

Must be able to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple tasks with competing importance and deadlines.

Must be able to use judgment to develop solutions and independently make non-critical decisions.
